In his latest work ‘The Lockdown Series’ by Munich-based award-winning photographer and designer Tom Hegen, he explores the world of aeroplanes during the coronavirus pandemic. He captures the standstill of the crisis at four German airports from the bird’s eye view. In April 2020 world-wide air traffic has fallen dramatically and at many airports runways are closed and used as parking areas. Tom Hegen has perfectly captured this unusual situation in his work ‘The Lockdown Series’.
