Etienne Salomé is a French car designer and artist. He lives and works in Berlin. Salomé has been Head of Interior Design and Deputy Chief Designer at Bugatti since 2007. He is responsible for the interior design of the world's fastest and most expensive production vehicle, the Bugatti Chiron. Besides he also works as a freelance artist. Speed ​​is a topic that inspires Salomé and is expressed in his artistic work.

For already 70 years Porsche represents sporting high-performance, quality and exclusivity. The characteristic of the sports car is the tachometer. The artist dedicated two artworks to this automotive icon on the 70-year history of Porsche: "70 Years Man Machine" and "Porsche Tachometers". The two works are strictly limited to 70 copies.

For the his art work "70 Years Man Machine", Salomé has traveled to museums, festivals and Porsche owners worldwide to gather original photos of cockpits of all Porsche models. The final work consists of an image composed of 35 overlapped tachometers.

The second work "Porsche Tachometers" shows the most important designs of tachometers and illustrates the evolution of the aesthetic consistency of the designs as well as the technical development of the Porsche tachometer over the past 70 years.

The latest work by Etienne Salomé is "Street Touch", in which he documents 25 different pictures of Porsche rims for a chronograph photography – from the simple wheel cover of the early 356 to the high-tech design of the new models. The Porsche logo is in the center.
